I had this happen as well at about 6 weeks. Spotting is pretty common after sex when you're pregnant. Many pregnant women get mild cramping after an orgasm as well. As long as there doesn't continue to be blood and you have no pain it's probably fine. I had spotting once after sex and then again for no particular reason around 8 weeks. It's my first so I freaked out and the midwife sent me to get an ultrasound. It turned out to be fine.
As for the sickness. You're at the point where many women experience morning sickness. Hope you don't get it too bad, it can be awful!
Good Luck!

It is normal to have some spotting during or soon after sex. The cervix gets irritated and that is what happens. I doubt it has anything to do with you having been sick the previous day. If the bleeding increases or if you start to have strong, painful cramping, I would go to the ER but it sounds like you're going to be ok.

Best of luck.

Don't worry about it.
Often sex can cause a little bleeding. If it is excessive, or you have pain with it, then you should be worried.

i doubt there's anything to worry about as i experienced the same at 8 weeks and all it was is that your growing inside and sometimes you spot alittle and its quite common just keep a check on it the say to watch for heaver bleeding and definitely clots and stomach cramps, but if your still concerned just wait till the doctors are open and go see then straight away..

i bled after intercourse at around 6 weeks. we ended up in the a+e department, got checked out, had to go back the following day for internal ultrasound which showed everything was fine. we were recomended to abstain from sex until after week 13. That was with my first.
currently 27 weeks pregnant with number 2 and spotted again around weeks 5 -7. 2 more internal ultrasounds followed, one week apart, and again everything showed up fine.
never suffered morning sickness so wouldnt know if thats the sickness you're feeling.
without cramping, pain and a lot of bleeding i think ul be fine, really. if you are really worrie – and i know i was frantic – go to your a+e department and explain the situation. better to be checked and have your mind put at rest than panic all weekend.
